Friday Funfest Road Tour & Cruise-In

Time: Line up Begins at 4:30 pm at the Mid America Motorworks campus
Road Tour Departs at 5:30 pm
Cruise-In & Downtown Street Party 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Start your Funfest weekend early and join us for the annual Funfest Road Tour and Cruise-In.
Enjoy a cruise through the beautiful Effingham countryside with fellow VW enthusiasts. The party is just beginning as the Road Tour ends and the Cruise-In begins with a Downtown Street Party around the courthouse square in Effingham.
Enjoy an evening of activities, music, and prizes, not to mention a chance to win the Mayor’s Pick Award. Food and drinks will be available on-site, as well as at the local downtown restaurants.
Line-up begins at 4:30 pm at the Mid America Motorworks campus, and will depart at 5:30 pm. The Cruise-In and Downtown Street Party festivities take place from 6pm – 8pm. If you choose not to join us for the road tour, then meet us downtown!

Lunch With Mike

Join Mike Yager as he shares his story about how his passion for the automotive hobby has changed his life and evolved over the last 36 years. You will be treated to a personal tour of the Mid America Motorworks’ corporate Offices and the MY Garage Museum collection, followed by an exclusive lunch with Mike, Laurie, and other management team members. Each guest will receive a commemorative gift personally autographed by Mike.
Spaces are limited. Additional tickets are available for purchase at $35 per person.
Swap Meet
The 2010 swap meet offered a wide variety of anything and everything a VW enthusiast could want. So what are you waiting for? Turn your VW stuff into someone else’s treasure by reserving a space today! Just $50 for each 20’ x 17’ space for the entire weekend. No commercial vendors or new product sales.

Mid America Motorworks hosts its Second Annual For Sale Car Corral and Auction for Air-Cooled Volkswagens. All cars listed in the for sale car corral that did not sell will have the option to register a reserve in the auction.
This is your opportunity join the fun, whether you are in the market to buy or have a need to sell! The auction includes anything from a rolling chassis to a totally restored car and everything in between.
Register your car now and take advantage of the pre-event advertising available. Submit up to 4 photos (jpegs) and a written description of your car, along with the seller information to funfest@mamotorworks.com. Your car will be posted and advertised on the Funfest website for potential bidders/buyers to view as well as advertised to all past and present registered attendees.
